This day trip departs from Piazza del Popolo in Rome by air-conditioned bus and visits Sorrento and the Pompeii archaeological site in turn. It includes free time in Sorrento, a limoncello tasting and priority entry to Pompeii.

You visit a local limoncello producer and taste three locally made liqueurs: limoncello, melloncello and a surprise liqueur. The itinerary lists about 40 minutes for the tasting, and the stop is shown as Limoncello di Capri.

Enter the Pompeii archaeological site with priority entry

You explore Pompeii, the ancient city buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. You can walk ancient streets, houses, temples and thermal baths, and see well-preserved frescoes.

A priority entrance ticket to the Pompeii archaeological site is included, and the itinerary lists about 1 hour 30 minutes at Pompeii. From November 1, you can also choose an option that includes a guided tour of the site with a local professional guide.
