This day trip of about 12 to 13 hours departs from Piazza del Popolo in Rome on an air-conditioned coach with Wi-Fi. A professional guide accompanies you all day, and you'll stop for about 20 minutes in Cassino on the way.
Explore the ruins of Pompeii with a guide
Enter the UNESCO World Heritage site of Pompeii with priority access and tour it with an expert guide for about 1 hour 30 minutes. Walk the ancient streets, see preserved villas and frescoes, and discover a city frozen in time by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. After the guided tour, there is free time for lunch (at your own expense).
Head along the Amalfi Coast to Positano
Leaving Pompeii, drive along the Amalfi Coast past towering cliffs, sparkling sea views and hillside villages. In Positano, you'll have about 2 hours of free time to wander the colorful streets and boutiques along the cliffs, visit the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, or relax at a café overlooking the sea.
On the way back, you'll take another short break in Cassino, and the tour ends at Viale Giorgio Washington in Rome.
