If you choose the guided option, you tour the site for about 1 hour 30 minutes with a licensed professional guide; otherwise you can explore at your own pace.

Enjoy free time in Sorrento

After Pompeii you head to Sorrento, a coastal town set on cliffs above the Bay of Naples and known for its lemon groves, artisan boutiques, ceramic workshops and sea views. During free time you can walk the historic center, browse local shops, taste limoncello or have lunch at a seaside restaurant. A drink is also provided by the sea in Sorrento.

The full-day Pompeii tour option does not visit Sorrento and covers Pompeii only.
