Sorrento and Capri in 3 days
A coach takes you south from Rome to explore Pompeii with a guide, followed by two nights at a hotel in Sorrento. From April to October you visit Capri on the second day, and on the third day you have free time in Sorrento before returning to Rome. Two breakfasts and two dinners are included.
Day 1: walk through the ruins of Pompeii with a guide
You leave your hotel in Rome in the morning and head south through the Italian countryside. You enter Pompeii with priority access and, with a guide, see the ancient streets, houses, temples and public buildings. The city was buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79 and preserved under volcanic ash for centuries.
After the visit you travel to Sorrento, which overlooks the Bay of Naples, check in to your hotel and have dinner. The rest of the evening is free.
Day 2: Capri and the Blue Grotto
From April to October you take the ferry to Capri after breakfast. If weather and sea conditions allow, you visit the Blue Grotto, a sea cave known for its striking blue light. During free time you can walk the lanes, enjoy the coastal views, browse boutiques or relax in a café. In the afternoon you return to Sorrento for dinner and the overnight stay.
From November to March there is no Capri visit. After breakfast at the hotel you spend free time in Sorrento for shopping or optional activities.
Day 3: relax in Sorrento and return to Rome
On the third day you have breakfast at your Sorrento hotel and free time to explore Sorrento before departure. You can also taste authentic limoncello in Sorrento. In the early afternoon you travel to Pompeii and then continue by coach to Rome, arriving in the late afternoon.

※ Capri is visited from April 1 to October 31, and the Blue Grotto may not be visited depending on weather conditions.
※ From November to March the accommodation may be a 3-star hotel, and in peak season (August and September) it may be outside Sorrento.

Please wait in the hotel lobby 45 minutes before departure (60 minutes for hotels outside the city center), and confirm your pickup time 24 hours before the tour. Pickup is not offered at B&B, guesthouses or apartments. If your hotel is not on the pickup route, come by 7:00 a.m. to the meeting point on the Viale Washington side of Piazzale Flaminio, near the neoclassical portico on the left, next to Flaminio station (Metro Line A). Look for the staff holding the "I Love Rome" logo. The tour starts at 7:30 a.m., and latecomers cannot join.
