Step into the story of the Opéra Garnier
with an actress
This is a show-style guided tour in which an actress leads you through the inside of the Opéra Garnier. Following a real scenario, you will learn about this iconic building and the historic anecdotes that made it famous as you visit the Palais Garnier and its halls open to the public. The tour lasts about 1.5 hours and returns to the meeting point at the end.
Follow the story of three ballerinas' wishes
The heroines of the scenario are Flore, Marion and Suzanne, ballerinas of the Paris Opera Ballet. Having shared the same childhood dream of dancing at the Opéra Garnier, the three finally make it, yet before the opera house's mysterious statue each makes a completely different wish. One of them shares her story in "Un Amour d'Opéra."

The tour runs in English and French, but each language has its own separate time slots. Tours are not bilingual, so please book the option in a language you understand and speak fluently. French tours are led by a French-speaking actress.

Meet outside the opera house, under the left pillar (topped with an eagle) in front of the entrance gate at the corner of rue Scribe and rue Auber. Look for the guide holding an 'Un Amour d'Opéra' sign. Do not enter the opera house on your own, even if security staff invite you in. The tour returns to the meeting point at the end.
