Walk to a hilltop overlooking
the Abisko Valley
This small group hike of about 1 hour 30 minutes leads to a hilltop that is one of Abisko's hidden viewpoints. The group is limited to 8 guests and runs in English.
You meet at the Abisko.net Hostel & Huskies reception, and you can walk with an Alaskan husky if you like.
Climb through birch forest
You climb at a relaxed pace across lovely birch forest. Walking with a husky is optional but recommended. If you wish, you walk with one dog each, and the husky may carry a small bag.
The trail has some uneven sections but is generally gentle and stable, so most visitors can enjoy it.
Take in the Arctic scenery at the top
At the top you take a short rest and enjoy the whole Abisko Valley, the surrounding mountains and the wide Arctic landscape. You can breathe fresh mountain air and feel the quiet calm of Abisko.
