After a short drive from Abisko to the starting point, you put on snowshoes and walk through natural, untouched snow. The activity lasts about 5 hours, and a live English-speaking guide leads a small group of up to 8 people. Snowshoes, poles, and winter overalls are provided, and a professional photographer takes photos of the scenery and of you.

Walk about 4 to 8 km across the snowy wilderness

The guide chooses the starting point based on the weather, snow conditions, and wildlife activity. Depending on the group, weather, and pace, you walk roughly 4 to 8 km, and the small group size lets the route be adjusted to the conditions.

Along the way you may come across Arctic wildlife such as reindeer, foxes, and birds of prey.

Enjoy warm drinks and snacks by the campfire

During a break, the guide builds a campfire in the wild. Warm up beside the fire with hot drinks and snacks and take in the stillness of the Arctic landscape.
