You meet at the ticket office in front of Daehanmun Gate, skip the ticket line and walk through the palace grounds with your guide. There is time for photos and free time, and the guide speaks English.

See a Joseon royal residence and Western-style buildings

Deoksugung was a royal residence in the Joseon era and also reflects the history of the period influenced by the West. You can see traditional Korean architecture alongside Western styles. Your guide also explains how today's City Hall Plaza is connected to the palace's history.

Listen to the guide through a wireless receiver

A wireless receiver and earphones are included. Sanitized shared earphones are available for loan, but we recommend bringing your own for hygiene. The earphones provided are adult-sized, so please bring smaller ones if you need them.

Stroll through the palace in the middle of the city

After the guided commentary, you can stroll through the palace at your own pace and take photos. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Food, drinks and drones are not allowed. The tour ends at Daehanmun Gate.
