Vinceró è stato una guida fantastica! Super gentile e disponibile, ci ha portati non solo al palazzo ma anche a fare un giro nei quartieri vicini. Il tour del palazzo è stato super interessante e suggestivo! Dopo la visita al palazzo ci ha portato a fare un’attività tipica coreana: rilassarsi con i piedi ammollo nel Cheonggyecheon Stream 🥹 Ci ha anche portato in una zona super particolare della città piena di locals che probabilmente non avremmo visitato se non fosse stato per lui. Title: An Unforgettable First Day in Seoul: From Deoksugung Palace to the Magnificent Han River Fireworks! Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) Could a first day in Seoul possibly be any more perfect? The tour began with an evening stroll through Deoksugung Palace. It was so much more. We shared deep conversations about Korean history, culture, and life, and by the end, I felt like I had made a genuine friend. Afterward, we headed to Cheonggyecheon Stream, an oasis in the heart of the city, where we dipped our feet in the cool water, enjoyed a quiet moment of leisure, and felt a profound sense of peace. In the evening, we stopped by a cozy Texas restaurant to savor delicious Mexican food and ice-cold beers. Then, we moved to the Han River for the grand finale: the once-a-year, magnificent Seoul International Fireworks Festival in Yeouido. Watching the breathtaking fireworks light up the night sky brought an emotional wave of awe that I will never forget. A heartfelt thank you to Vincero.

Meet at Daehanmun Gate
and enter Deoksugung at night

Meet your guide at Daehanmun Gate of Deoksugung Palace near City Hall Station to start the tour. Inside the palace, admire the striking contrast between traditional wooden buildings and the grand Western-style Seokjojeon Hall while your guide tells you about the turbulent late Joseon period, the Korean Empire and Emperor Gojong.

Capture the illuminated palace and city views

Enjoy the night view of illuminated pavilions set against modern high-rise buildings and take photos. You can see Deoksugung's unique nighttime scenery, where the traditional palace and the city skyline appear in one frame.

Walk along the Stone Wall Road and Cheonggyecheon

Leaving the palace, take a relaxed stroll along the Deoksugung Stone Wall Road under the soft glow of streetlights. Then walk along Cheonggyecheon Stream to take in the riverside night views and lively city atmosphere. After the tour, you can continue your night in Seoul with street food and shopping in Myeongdong or at the retro pubs of Gwangjang Market.
