Start with norigae and mother-of-pearl craft

The class begins with a short introduction to two of Korea's treasured traditional arts. The norigae is a traditional Korean ornament symbolizing wishes, blessings and good luck, historically worn with hanbok. Najeon chilgi (mother-of-pearl) is a refined Korean decorative art once reserved for royalty, nobles and special occasions.
Assemble your charm with silk tassels and beads

After the introduction, you choose materials for your own charm from a selected collection: elegant silk tassels in many colors, ornaments in various shapes inspired by Korean tradition, genuine mother-of-pearl pieces, authentic Korean beads and decorations, and traditional pendants.
With help from an English-speaking instructor, you put the pieces together one by one in your own style. No prior experience is needed.
Take home a name tag and silk pouch

Your finished charm is placed in a traditional Korean silk pouch. You also receive a personalized Korean name tag, so you can take home a souvenir of your trip.
※ The class is conducted in English.
