BESTIt was a place with a very Italian feel, especially the night view, which was so beautiful.
fantasy land,
Huis Ten Bosch
Although it is a bit far from Fukuoka, it is still a pity not to visit the Netherlands in Japan. Huis Ten Bosch is a theme park where you can enjoy 6 theme mark zones and over 50 attractions. In addition to the theme park zone, you can also enjoy various themes such as the Flower World Competition, Halloween Day Party, Wine Festival, Picasso and 20th Century French Painting Exhibition, and it has become a much-loved travel destination in Korea after appearing on the Jjannae Tour.
The best theme park in Fukuoka,
Huis Ten Bosch
Huis Ten Bosch, which is called one of the three major theme parks along with Disneyland and Universal Studios Japan, is a must-see destination when traveling to Fukuoka. Let me introduce Huis Ten Bosch in detail.
Huis Ten Bosch is a theme park where you can experience different charms depending on the season. From spring to summer, you can see the most gorgeous tulip festival with 1 million flowers, and in winter, you can see colorful flowers such as orchids. Also, at night, you can see the illumination that is the pride of Huis Ten Bosch. You can see the kingdom of light illuminated by 13 million LED bulbs. The illuminated European streetscape and the illumination that changes with the season are truly fascinating.
Introducing the charm of the city of flowers that change with the seasons
In the 'City of Flowers', where you can enjoy the seasons with all five senses, there are flowers for each season. The gorgeous flowers that color the entire Huis Ten Bosch all year round are truly charming.
Spring♡ Late February - Early April:
During this period, you can see beautiful tulips on Flower Road.
Early Summer♡ Early May - Early July:
During this period, a rose festival is held in the Grand Rose Garden. It is decorated gorgeously with roses in white, pink, and red.
Summer♡ Early July - Early September:
In summer, you can meet sunflowers. Come see the yellow sunflowers at Flower Square and Flower Road!
Fall♡ Early September - Early November:
You can meet the fragrant autumn roses.
Winter♡ Late December - Late February:
You can see pansies, violas, cyclamens, and more at Flower Road and Flower Square.
Huis Ten Bosch Kingdom of Light at night
When it gets dark, Huis Ten Bosch turns into a kingdom of light. The illuminated European streetscape and the illuminations that change with the seasons are truly amazing, and the kingdom of light has various themes. I will introduce these themes!
1. Water Magic:
Japan's largest water entertainment, with fountains shooting up to 20 meters high. A spectacular illumination fountain show created by music and light.
2. Aurora Garden of Light:
A mystical place where illuminations transform into full color from a 60m wide light cannon.
3. Sky Carcell (3-story carousel):
In Japan, you can only find it at Huis Ten Bosch! A 15-meter-tall, three-story carousel. It's also very popular on social media as a photo spot!
4. 3D Projection Mapping:
A wondrous illusion illuminated on the night street. You can enjoy the beauty of the images limited to that season, which change their theme and appearance depending on the season.
You must see the fireworks festival.
Huis Ten Bosch hosts special fireworks displays throughout the season! If you are planning to visit in 2024, be sure to check the schedule. You can check the schedule here !

I recommend a nice restaurant inside.
Huis Ten Bosch has a wide variety of delicious restaurants, from cafes to restaurants. While theme parks are often criticized for being expensive and not very tasty, Huis Ten Bosch is famous for having many restaurants with food quality that exceeds expectations.
1. Blue Print (Flower Road):
A cafe where you can enjoy coffee while looking at flowers and windmills on the terrace of the canal
2. Hananoya:
A Japanese restaurant serving seasonal ingredients from Nagasaki. Sukiyaki made with Nagasaki Wagyu is popular.
3. Pepper Lunch:
A steakhouse with the motto of cheap and delicious food.
4. AKURBER (Amsterdam City):
A French-based buffet restaurant that focuses on Nagasaki ingredients
There are so many other restaurants out there. If you want to see all of them , go here !
Small tips for Huis Ten Bosch
Huis Ten Bosch has so much to see that I highly recommend visiting, but it takes about 4 hours round trip, so I recommend leaving early in the morning and returning at night. However, if you see the illuminations and fireworks at night, the return trip will be quite long, so I recommend making a reservation at one of the five official hotels in Huis Ten Bosch.
