✨Nakatsu Castle Admission Ticket
Nakatsu Castle, one of Japan's three great water castles, was built by Kuroda Kanbei, a brilliant military strategist of the Warring States period. During the Edo period, the castle was lorded by the renowned Okudaira clan, known for their bravery in the Battles of Nagashino and Shitarahara. In modern times, Nakatsu Castle (now Okudaira Historical Museum) has been rebuilt as Japan's only flower castle, with landscaping by Kazuyuki Ishihara, a garden designer who was praised as a "green wizard" by the late Queen Elizabeth II.
