BESTThe open-air bath was the best.. But it's really far from here. I had to transfer more than 3 times with the Hanshin Pass to Arima Onsen, so I had to take a day. But the moment I arrived, I thought that I had a good trip. The snowy open-air bath was the best.

Arima hot springs, Japan
Arima Onsen, one of the oldest hot springs in Japan, is located north of the Rokko Mountains in Kobe City and boasts a history of over 1,300 years! Is that why? It has been a place visited by many great figures such as emperors, nobles, and samurai since ancient times. Traditional Japanese buildings and temples are well-preserved throughout the village, and the scenery is so beautiful that it makes you feel like you have traveled back in time to an ancient Japanese town. Enjoy this beautiful scenery and relieve your fatigue by enjoying a spa at Arima Onsen.

Introducing Taikonoyu Onsen
Taikonoyu Onsen, which recently completed remodeling, is a hot spring where you can enjoy a variety of open-air baths, including the Kinsen source discharge-type Dino rock bath, Kinsen, carbonated spring, and herb bath. When entering, you can enter immediately by presenting the Taiko-no-yu admission ticket received from WAUG.
The most popular place is the carbonated hot spring, which has a not-so-hot water temperature and carbonated water, which has the effect of making your skin smooth.
Let me introduce you to some great facilities that you should definitely use.
Carbonated hot springs are a must-visit, and Kin no Yu is also popular. Only 3 people can enter Kin no Yu at a time, so I recommend visiting it first as soon as you enter Daiko No Yu. Darai-tang and herb-tang, which are open for one person only, are also very popular.
Additionally, Geumtang (a reddish-brown hot spring containing iron) and Euntang (a colorless hot spring containing radium) are also popular, and they have the effect of preventing body moisture from escaping until the next day. In addition, there are many different half-bath open-air baths, so you can enjoy the hot springs in any style you like.
