If you are traveling to Beijing
It's a required course
Temple of Heaven Park was a special place where the emperor performed rituals to pray to heaven, such as rain ceremonies or ceremonies to pray for a good harvest in the following year.
The ancient Chinese believed that the sky was round and the earth was square, so they made things related to the sky round and things related to the earth square. For this reason, the Temple of Heaven Park, where they offered sacrifices to the sky, was also made in a circular shape. Visit Temple of Heaven Park and see the laws of heaven and earth and the authority of the emperor!
Check out the echo wall
This Echo Wall, also known as the Echo Wall or the Hoeum Wall, is a wall surrounding the Hwanggungwoo Shrine, where rituals for offering sacrifices to heaven are prepared. The Echo Wall is specially designed so that when a sound is made toward the wall from one side, the sound will travel around the wall and be heard on the other side. This is said to mean that the emperor's prayers will travel to all the people and reach the heavens, so why not visit here and make a wish?
