How to use:
1. Maokong Gondola 1-day unlimited pass
Scan the voucher QR code at the automatic ticket exchange machine installed at each station and exchange it for a physical ticket.

※ Stations with automatic ticket exchange machines: Zoo Station, Zoo South Station, Maokong Station
※ The Maokong Gondola 1-day pass allows unlimited rides during operating hours on the day of use.
※ Only one person can use it at a time.

2. Taipei City Zoo
Enter by scanning the voucher QR code at the zoo’s main entrance or the zoo’s South Station entrance.

※ When entering the zoo through the main gate, scan the QR code through the automatic ticket machine at passages 7, 8, and 9.
※ To use the tourist train, present your ticket to the staff at the terminal or Jowon Station before boarding.
※ When scanning the QR code when entering the zoo's South Station entrance, click [Continue Exchange] to exchange your tourist train ticket before entering.

Precautions for riding the Maokong Gondola

• You must consider your physical condition before boarding. We do not recommend boarding if you have cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, fear of heights, or are physically uncomfortable.
• Please stand in line and board according to the staff instructions. Arbitrary entry is strictly prohibited. Upon arrival at the station, please disembark in order and do not stay at the boarding area.
• Maximum transport capacity of the gondola: The regular gondola can carry up to 640KG for 8 people, and the crystal gondola can carry up to 400KG for 5 people. When boarding, please separate your seats so that both sides are balanced.
• After getting off at the last stop (Zoo Station, Maokong Gondola Station), you must exit the station. If you want to board again, you must purchase a ticket again and then board.
• We ask for concessions and consideration for elderly people and passengers with reduced mobility.
• The cable car moves slowly at the platform, so please be careful not to interfere with the operation of the cable car when boarding or disembarking.
• Dangerous behavior such as standing, jumping, or shaking is prohibited while the cable car is operating.
• Elderly people, infants, and other guests who require accompanying guests must be accompanied by a guardian.
• When using a stroller, wheelchair, or electric wheelchair, the equipment can be up to 140cm wide, 70cm long, and 170cm high.
• Additionally, to prevent the risk of shaking during operation, customers using strollers, wheelchairs, and electric wheelchairs must enter and exit under the guidance of staff.
• In the event of a lightning strike in the management route area, the cable car will temporarily stop operating. Please follow the staff's instructions to evacuate.
• In order to make boarding more convenient for customers who have mobility issues or use wheelchairs, the speed can be temporarily adjusted or stopped.
• Smoking, eating (not including water or bottled water), gum, and betel nut are prohibited inside the cable car. Throwing items out of the window is strictly prohibited.
• Leaning on or opening or closing the cable car door is strictly prohibited.
• Please note that if you violate laws, public order, or general morality on the cable car, you will be dealt with in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

Things to note about Taipei City Zoo

• This is a non-smoking area, so smoking is strictly prohibited. (Effective July 11, 2009, violations may result in a fine of up to NTD$10,000.)
• Pets are strictly prohibited.
• Carrying of bicycles, children's tricycles, skateboards, inline skates, etc. is prohibited.
• Climbing over the railing is prohibited.
• Entry to work areas and safari bus routes is prohibited.
• Feeding animals is prohibited.
• Eating is prohibited in the indoor exhibition hall.
• Any interference with animal protection, such as arbitrarily feeding food or interfering with the rights and interests of animals, is prohibited.
• Due to random hair growth, it is recommended to wear breathable long sleeves and long pants.
• Any action that interferes with the rights and interests of other visitors and the quality of viewing is prohibited.
• We recommend that you wear walking shoes that allow you to walk lightly. We recommend that you bring personal items with you if you need UV protection or mosquito prevention.
• Due to mosquitoes, it is recommended to wear breathable long sleeves and long pants.
• The use of flash is prohibited in indoor exhibition areas such as the Panda Hall (New Light Special Exhibition), Koala Hall, Amphibian and Reptile Hall, and childcare corridors.

Taipei City Zoo - Things to note about tourist trains

• You can only ride the tourist train once each way.
• There is no direct train between Zoo South Station - Jowon Station, Jowon Station - Jungang Station, or Jungang Station - Zoo South Station, so please get off at Jowon Station and transfer. (Transfers are possible within the station.)
• If you need to reboard after leaving the station, you must purchase a separate ticket. Easy Card (Yoyo Card), iPASS, icash or cash can be used on site.
• No refunds will be given after boarding. Please present your ticket to the staff before boarding.
• If tickets are lost, damaged, or unidentifiable, they will not be reissued or refunded.
• Please check the website for operating hours.
• Those who meet the conditions for free admission must present a valid document upon entry. Those who do not present the ticket or do not present the document prior to payment will not receive the benefit.
• Conditions for free use of the tourist train: Under 6 years old, holder of a disability certificate, and 1 accompanying person.
