The pineapple flesh has a good scent and is delicious. I have participated in making cookies a few times in Korea, but this was my first time making Pongrisu. The kids loved it. We tried on traditional clothes and explained about the culture of Doljabi. There were people from various countries who had experience, and they explained everything, including Japanese and Korean.

The children absolutely loved it. We were able to have a comfortable experience thanks to a staff member who spoke fluent Korean. It was even better that the hand-washing area and the baking space were kept hygienically clean. It was also very educational to be able to experience Taiwanese culture while the pineapple cakes were baking! I highly recommend this as an indoor activity on a hot day.

About Kuo Yuan Ye Pineapple Cakes
Kuo Yuan Ye Pineapple Cake is still famous as the No. 1 pineapple cake in Taiwan after being founded in 1867. Since then, in order to preserve this history, the Gaobing Museum Shilin Branch was established in August 2002 to preserve it, and after more than 3 centuries of development, Kuo Yuan Ye has diversified its operations from the confectionery industry to the wedding industry, Western-style baking, and the cultural confectionery industry.
Class Procedure Guide
1. Arrive at Kuo Yuan Ye Gaobing Museum Shilin Branch (the experience area is on the 4th floor)
2. Put on an apron and start by making the dough.
3. When the dough is ready, choose and add the pineapple cake pulp.
4. Make a creative pineapple cake! You can make it in a shape that is the only one in the world.
5. Start a museum tour while baking the pineapple cake!
6. Tasting and packaging of freshly made warm pineapple cakes is possible
