BESTI am so satisfied! It was absolutely the best~ There were so many dolphins and I saw them all~ And seeing dolphins swimming freely in the sea was the best luck~ I went with a taxi tour, and driver Hank helped me with everything from telling me the best seats to getting the cruise tickets, so I think it was a more comfortable and satisfying trip~ I highly recommend it to people around me :) I think I will use it again next time I go to Taiwan! It's the best!

Guisando, a mysterious turtle island floating in the Pacific Ocean
Guishan Island is currently the only island in Taiwan with an active volcano rising above sea level. It is said that it was named Guishan Island because it looks like a turtle floating in the water.
Guishando Island is home to many rare plants and animals, including Taiwan's endemic daylilies, Taiwanese civets, and Taiwanese steel golinds, and long-beaked dolphins and whales can often be seen in the waters around the island. In addition to this rich ecology, the island has beautiful scenery, historical relics, and stories.
Tips for watching whales and dolphins
Guisan Island is shallow, so many fish gather there, so if the weather is good, the chance of seeing dolphins is said to be over 85%.
In general, the species that frequently appear in nearby waters are mainly long-beaked dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, pygmy killer whales, and black killer whales. You can identify different types of dolphins by their body size, head shape, group formation, swimming speed and whether they follow your boat. It is also said that you can identify what type of whale or dolphin it is by its behavior at sea level, such as jumping and making waves, so take note and observe!
