BESTFirst course of my trip to Taiwan!!! Because it was a weekday, the line wasn't huge, but it was really nice to be able to go straight up without waiting!! It seems to be essential on weekends when there is a lot of waiting, and when I made a reservation, I was told that I could enter right away without a ticket, but first, I received a paper ticket and an information pamphlet at the counter online reservation window (we also received a calendar because it was the end of the year), and if I followed the instructions, I boarded the elevator right away!!! When you come down, show the blue ticket that looks like a pamphlet to the information staff in line and get on the elevator right away!!! I was really lost trying to find a gift shop, but if you show it to the staff selling snacks right in front of the Din Tai Fung store on the basement level, they will give it to you right away. Please note that everyone in your group can only receive the same item. Other places sell tickets by entry time, but WAG has a set time. I'm a little skeptical, but don't worry, you'll be issued a ticket according to your arrival time.

The Taipei 101 Observatory, standing at a height of 509m, is undoubtedly a landmark representing Taiwan. As the name '101 Tower' suggests, it consists of 101 floors. The observatory is divided into an indoor observatory on the 88th and 89th floors, and an outdoor observatory on the 91st floor.
The 89th floor is an indoor observatory where you can see the Taipei skyline through glass walls, and the 91st floor is an outdoor observatory where you can see a panoramic view of Taipei without glass walls. However, admission to the 91st floor observatory may be restricted depending on the weather, so please check on-site before going up.
With this Fast Pass, you can skip the line to the Taipei 101 Observatory.

Don't Miss This!
The Taipei 101 Observatory is a must-visit attraction for anyone visiting Taipei. Taipei 101 Tower, the tallest building in Taipei, stands at a height of 382m. That's why it's always been considered a must-see attraction in Taiwan. You can enjoy a 360-degree view of Taipei from the observatory on the 89th floor, and you can also enter the outdoor observatory on the 91st floor.
How to Get There

Taipei 101 Building is easily accessible by the Taiwan MRT. Take the subway to Taipei 101/World Trade Center Station and take Exit 4 to connect to the Taipei 101 Building's underground restaurant district. At this time, take the stairs or escalator from Exit 4 and come outside to find the entrance to the Taipei 101 Building near the LOVE sculpture.
Guinness World Record Elevator

How fast does an elevator have to be to be listed in the Guinness Book of World Records? The Taipei 101 Tower elevator goes from the 5th floor to the 89th floor observatory in just 37 seconds. That's why it's listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the fastest elevator in the world. It's also fun to actually ride it and see how fast it is.
The Secret of Taipei 101 Tower is the Damper

When you go up to Taipei 101 Building, you can see the golden damper. This is what keeps the Taipei 101 Tower from collapsing. Located between the 88th and 92nd floors, the damper is a 6m diameter, 600t weight that keeps the building from collapsing even in earthquakes or typhoons.
You can see it in person, so I recommend you don't miss it.
Introducing the Best Photo Zone

The best photo zones in the Taipei 101 Building Observatory are the four corner zones. After all, the corner zone is the best place to take pictures. There are photo zones where you can take pictures like the one above, but the corners are always popular photo zones even where there aren't any.
Meet the Fantastic Night View

When is the best time to visit? According to WAUG data, 6 p.m. is the most popular time to visit. Many people visit the Taipei 101 Tower Observatory at this time because they can see both the sunset and the night view at the same time. The view of downtown Taipei from here is truly fantastic. I highly recommend seeing both the sunset and the night view at the same time.
Recommended Restaurants Nearby

Taipei 101 Tower has restaurants and shopping malls from the 1st basement floor to the 5th floor above ground. So I recommend eating before going to the 5th floor, which is the entrance to the observatory. The most popular restaurant is Din Tai Fung on the 1st basement floor. You can taste various dishes such as dim sum, beef noodles, and fried rice, so if you go to the observatory at lunch or dinner, I recommend you stop by.
