For a bus tour that takes you around southern Okinawa, first visit Okinawa World. Okinawa World is a tourist facility where you can fully experience nature, art, and culture. It includes “Gyokusendo,” a stalactite cave said to have been created from a coral reef about 300,000 years ago, and “Ryukyu,” a beautiful street recognized as a nationally designated tangible cultural property. “Kingdom Jokamachi”, various craft experiences, “Hab Museum Park” themed around the poisonous snake habu that inhabits Okinawa, “Tropical Fruit Garden”, a tropical orchard with 100 types/450 trees, etc. You can enjoy it all.

“Super Eisa (スーパーエイサー)”, which contains the charm of folk entertainment, is also performed every day, so don’t miss out on the various attractions. You can experience the charm of Okinawa’s unique nature.


Peace Memorial Park conveying the spirit of peace

The Peace Memorial Park was built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of the Okinawa War and to spread the ‘heart of peace’ to the world. The names of many people who sacrificed their lives in the Okinawa War are engraved on the monument, and currently, the names of people who sacrificed in other wars are not limited to the Okinawa War.


Himeyuri Pagoda in memory of war victims

In March 1980, at the request of the military, Himeyuri Unit formed 320 female students from Normal School Girls/Jeil High School and were assigned to the special nursing department. The cave next to the tower has a sad history of people being surrounded by enemy forces and committing suicide without being able to take a single step forward, or about 200 people dying in an American poison gas attack. Himeyuri Tower is a memorial tower that enshrines 211 women's students and 16 employees and is a park that commemorates history.


Okinawa's large shopping center, Ias Okinawa Toyosaki

Ice Okinawa Toyosaki is a large store that opened in June 2020 in the southernmost part of Japan and has more than 130 stores, including the DMM Kariyushi Aquarium. There are many things to see and do, including an indoor miniature theme park, so I recommend taking a look around every corner.


Introducing the tour schedule

1. Meeting at 08:30 am
After meeting at the designated location, board the bus and begin the tour.

2. Okinawa World (about 120 minutes)
At Okinawa World, a must-see when traveling in southern Okinawa, enjoy various attractions such as the famous Okten Cave, Ryukyu Kingdom Jokamachi, Habu Museum Park, and Tropical Fruit Garden.
*Gokucheon Cave, Tropical Fruit Garden, and Ryukyu Kingdom Castle Village are not subject to guided guidance.

3. Peace Memorial Park/Cornerstone of Peace (about 60 minutes)
Explore the Peace Memorial Park, built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of the Okinawa War.

4. Himeyuri Pagoda / Yubido Lunch (about 80 minutes)
As required by female students, you can see the memorial monument commemorating the Himeyuri students who sacrificed their lives during the Battle of Okinawa in World War II.

5. Ias Okinawa Toyosaki (about 80 minutes)
Spend leisurely free time shopping and enjoying various activities at a large shopping center in the southernmost part of Japan.
*Kariyushi Aquarium admission fee is not included.

6. Tour ends at 16:00 PM
The tour ends after individually dispersing at the meeting point.
