You can enjoy Gyokusendo, a limestone cave said to have been created from coral reefs about 300,000 years ago, Ryukyu Kingdom Town, a beautiful street recognized as a nationally designated tangible cultural property, various craft experiences, the Habu Museum Park, which features habu vipers native to Okinawa, and the Tropical Fruit Garden with 100 types/450 trees.

Peace Memorial Park conveying the heart of peace

The Peace Memorial Park was built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of the Battle of Okinawa and to convey the 'heart of peace' to the world. The names of many people who sacrificed their lives in the Battle of Okinawa are engraved on the monument, and now the names of people who sacrificed their lives in other wars besides the Battle of Okinawa are also engraved.


Himeyuri Tower to commemorate the war dead

The Himeyuri unit was formed in March 1980 with 320 female students from the Normal School and the First High School at the request of the military and assigned as special nurses. The cave next to the tower has a tragic history in which about 200 people died from suicide or American poison gas attacks because they were surrounded by enemy forces and could not take a step. The Himeyuri Tower is a memorial tower that combines 211 female students and 16 staff members and is a park commemorating history.


Aeon Mall Okinawa Toyosaki, a large shopping center in Okinawa

Aeon Mall Okinawa Toyosaki is a large shopping mall that opened in June 2020 at the southernmost tip of Japan and has more than 130 stores, including the DMM Kariyushi Aquarium. There are many things to see and do, such as an indoor miniature theme park, so we recommend that you take a closer look.


Introducing the tour schedule

1. 08:30 AM Meeting
Meet at the designated location, board the bus, and start the tour.

2. Okinawa World (approx. 120 minutes)
Enjoy various attractions at Okinawa World, a must-see course for traveling in southern Okinawa, including the famous Gyokusen Cave, Ryukyu Kingdom Town, Habu Museum Park, and Tropical Fruit Garden.
*Gyokusen Cave, Tropical Fruit Garden, and Ryukyu Kingdom Castle Town are not subject to guide guidance.

3. Peace Memorial Park & Peace Cornerstone (approx. 60 minutes)
Visit the Peace Memorial Park, which was built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of the Battle of Okinawa.

4. Himeyuri Tower / Yubido Lunch (approx. 80 minutes)
You can see the memorial tower commemorating the Himeyuri student corps who sacrificed their lives during the Battle of Okinawa in World War II as female student soldiers.

5. Aeon Mall Okinawa Toyosaki (approx. 80 minutes)
Spend a relaxing free time shopping and enjoying various attractions at the southernmost large shopping center in Japan.
*Kariyushi Aquarium admission is not included.

6. 16:00 PM End of tour
The tour ends after being dismissed individually at the meeting point.
