Information on stalactites you can see
1. Icicle
It is a stalactite with an acute angle that hangs from the ceiling and looks like an ice icicle. The characteristic of icicles is that even if they break, they grow again from the broken part.
2. Stalagmites
These are stalactites that grow from the ground like bamboo shoots. It grows from water droplets falling from the ceiling, so if you look closely, you can spot stalagmites rising into the sky.
3. Stone pillar
It is a stalactite that grows when icicle stones and stalagmites are connected. The height varies depending on the stalactite cave, and if it is a cave with a high ceiling, you can see very nice stone pillars.
4. Straw
It's a thin, white stalactite growing from the ceiling. It is hollow on the inside, like a straw, and is characterized by groundwater falling through it.
5. Plowstone
It is a stalactite that exists in the form of covering the surface of a rock, and at Cave Okinawa, you can find very rare red stalactite flostone. It is said to have a red clay color, not bright red.
