The train runs on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (holidays), and with a variety of destination options, as well as the option to get off midway or take another train, it is recommended for those planning a trip to Kyushu.
If you're always bored with similar train rides, try the Chikugo Train, where you can enjoy beautiful scenery and a hearty meal all at once!
A Japanese-style, warm interior
The Chakugo train uses only local resources, including a ceiling made of bamboo, silver tiles, furniture from Okawa Village, and Chikugo artwork painted by artists! Perhaps that’s why you can feel the Japanese atmosphere from the moment you step on the train!
