The Hong Kong West Kowloon ↔ Guangzhou South route is direct and takes 48 minutes, while the Hong Kong West Kowloon ↔ Guangzhou East route takes 1 hour 34 minutes. 

 

Seat Classes 

There are four seat classes. The most popular are First Class and Second Class.

Second Class
A total of 511 seats are available in the carriages located in the center of the train. Comfortable seating, foldable seat tables, and coat hooks are provided.

First Class
A total of 68 seats are available in the first and last carriages. Enjoy complimentary drinks, soft lighting, comfortable seating, hooks, individual reading lights, and foldable seat tables. 

 

Boarding Procedure 

If Departing from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station

1. Bring a valid ID and proceed to the self-service gate or counter in the B1 level ticketing hall for real-name verification and ticketing confirmation.
2. After luggage and security checks before boarding the train, proceed to the B3 level departure platform.
3. Proceed to the gate on the B3 level departure platform before boarding. The ticket gate opens 15 minutes before departure and closes 5 minutes before departure.
4. If you arrive at a mainland China station, you can exit directly through the gate with your ticket and ID.

If Departing from a Mainland China Station

1. Bring a valid ID and proceed to the self-service gate or counter in the station for real-name verification and ticketing confirmation.
2. Board the train with your ticket and valid ID.
3. If you arrive at West Kowloon Station, get off at the B4 level platform and follow the signs to the B2 level arrival hall. You can proceed with immigration procedures at the arrival hall.
