Tour Route Introduction

The TramOramic Tour offers two convenient routes, allowing travelers to begin their nostalgic tram journey from either end of Hong Kong Island. Ride a restored 1920s-style open-top tram with free Wi-Fi and enjoy a one-hour sightseeing tour through the city. Pass landmarks such as Western Market, Central District, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, and the Happy Valley Racecourse. Listen to stories of local life and tram history in 16 languages, including English, Japanese, and Korean. On board, explore a small heritage corner featuring old photos, videos, and original artifacts.

1. Western Market (Sheung Wan) to Causeway Bay
Start your tour at the historic Western Market, one of Hong Kong’s oldest landmarks. From here, the tram travels eastward through the heart of the city, passing by Central’s towering skyscrapers, Wan Chai’s lively streets, and Causeway Bay’s shopping district. Apart from the one-hour TramOramic tour, your ticket also includes a free 2-day unlimited tram pass, known as the Golden Ticket. This pass gives you hop-on, hop-off access to Hong Kong Tramways’ six main routes running daily between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, allowing you to explore the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods at your own pace.
