Useful Tips for Riding

The 6th generation Peak Tram is green! The interior is much cleaner than before. Here's a tip for boarding: it's recommended to sit on the right side in the direction of travel. This way, you can enjoy the night view or scenery of Hong Kong as you go up.
Seats are not assigned, so you can sit wherever you want in the order you board. It's only 7 minutes, but the night view of Hong Kong as you go up is truly beautiful.
Fantastic Hong Kong Night View from Victoria Peak

When you take the tram up to Victoria Peak, you can see a truly fantastic night view of Hong Kong. If you visit on a clear day, you'll have a truly beautiful view. Many people also watch Hong Kong's famous 'Symphony of Lights' from here.
Best Place to Watch Symphony of Lights at 8 PM

The best place to see the Symphony of Lights in Hong Kong is the Sky Terrace 428 Observatory. This is a 360-degree observatory on the top floor of the Peak Tower, where you can enjoy the night view of Hong Kong and the Symphony of Lights in the open air.
It gets very crowded as 8 PM approaches, so it's recommended to go up before 7 PM to see the Symphony of Lights. If you go up too close to 8 PM, it may be too crowded to see the Symphony of Lights properly.
