Depart Cairns for a pontoon
on the Outer Reef

Board the cruise at Cairns Marlin Marina and head out to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Morning tea and coffee are served on the way, and you can relax as the coastline fades and the reef comes into view. The boat has shaded seating and comfortable onboard facilities.

Snorkel over vibrant coral gardens

Once at the Reef Magic pontoon, you spend about 5 hours on the Outer Reef. Unlimited snorkeling with gear included lets you explore coral gardens home to tropical fish and giant clams. The reef starts close to the surface, so even first-time snorkelers can explore with ease.

See the reef without getting wet

The underwater observatory, glass-bottom boat and guided semi-submersible tour let you see the coral below the surface without getting wet. You can also join a reef education and conservation presentation by a marine naturalist and a presentation by a marine biologist at the science lab.

Enjoy a buffet lunch and head back into the water

After a hot buffet lunch and morning and afternoon tea on the pontoon, get back in the water to explore more of the reef. Extra activities such as a snorkel safari, guided snorkeling, diving and a helicopter flight are available when you select the matching option at booking. At the end of the day, cruise back to Cairns.
