This roughly 25-minute experience takes you by helicopter over Queenstown and the Wakatipu Basin at sunset, the most beautiful time of day. From the air, you will see Lake Wakatipu, Coronet Peak, the Crown Range, and Cecil Peak. Make your own way to the Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters base in Frankton, or if you chose the hotel pickup option, travel by vehicle from your designated pickup location. After a full safety briefing from your experienced pilot, board the helicopter.

Fly over the Wakatipu Basin for about 20 minutes

Soar high above Queenstown and the Wakatipu Basin, taking in views of Lake Wakatipu, Coronet Peak, the Crown Range, and Cecil Peak. During the flight, your pilot highlights points of interest along the way.
