Queenstown Southern Glacier & Mount Aspiring Helicopter Tour - Hotel Pickup

Take off from the Queenstown Airport heliport
toward the Southern Alps

A pickup vehicle takes you from your hotel or designated location to the helicopter base at Queenstown Airport. Once on board, you will fly toward the Southern Alps, the jagged mountain range that runs across the South Island, with commentary from your pilot throughout the flight.

Fly over Mount Aspiring National Park

For about 20 minutes, you will head into Mount Aspiring National Park and admire the majestic Mount Aspiring. Glide over vast pristine forest and ancient glacial waterfalls for views you can only get from the air.

Land on a snowfield surrounded by glaciers

Land among the snowy peaks of the national park and stay for about 10 minutes. Take photos freely in a landscape of glaciers and snowfields.

Return to Queenstown over glacial waterfalls

On the roughly 20-minute return flight, enjoy more views of the ancient glacial waterfalls and the Southern Alps from above. Back in Queenstown, you will be dropped off at your pickup location.
