Get picked up from your hotel or Airbnb lobby in Tokyo, a station exit or a landmark of your choice, and travel by private vehicle for about 10 to 11 hours including travel time. This tour is exclusive to your group with no other travelers, and the driver will wait up to 1 hour at no extra charge.

After your booking is confirmed, choose the Mt. Fuji or Hakone itinerary, or combine the places you want, and send it by email or WhatsApp. Vehicle type and maximum group size vary by option, including sedan, Crown, Land Cruiser and minivan.

Visit the Mt. Fuji 5th Station and Lake Kawaguchi

At the Mt. Fuji 5th Station, spend about an hour at around 2,300 m above sea level. On clear days you can see the summit and surrounding mountains up close and browse the souvenir shops.

At Lake Kawaguchi, the largest of the Fuji Five Lakes, admire Mt. Fuji reflected on the water, then stroll through the seasonal flower gardens of Oishi Park with Mt. Fuji in the background. In summer, lavender and flowers fill the gardens.

Visit Chureito Pagoda, the shrine and Oshino Hakkai

Climb about 400 steps in Arakurayama Sengen Park to reach the five-story Chureito Pagoda, where you can photograph the red pagoda together with Mt. Fuji. It is especially popular during cherry blossom season in spring.

Also visit Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine, surrounded by an old cedar forest, and Oshino Hakkai, with eight ponds fed by spring water filtered through Mt. Fuji's volcanic rock. If you want to shop, you can also stop at Gotemba Premium Outlets with more than 200 brands.

Switch to a Hakone itinerary or add more places

With the Hakone itinerary, ride the Hakone Ropeway over the volcanic valley to Owakudani, see the sulfur vents and taste the famous black eggs. You can also visit the torii gate of Hakone Shrine standing on the water and cruise Lake Ashi on a pirate ship.

Other places such as Odawara Castle, the Hakone Open-Air Museum, Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba, Narusawa Ice Cave, Shimoyoshida Honcho Street, Shiraito Falls and Lawson Kawaguchiko can also be added. Please let us know any places you want to add when sharing your itinerary.
