13:101 ：！！： 5G 75 < Mt Fuji and Hakone 1-Day Bus T... Covers a lot, but not the best value. Masae has been very helpful and considerate through out the trip. Few things to note 1. Today 29th July, we did NOT take the ropeway all the way to lake Ashi. 2. Did not get a pirate ship. Got a modern ferry type boat. 3. Lunch was not worth the extra money, however helps you keep time 4. Some of the stops, the time given is short. Otherwise, all great. Tip: If you go there on a sunny day, be ready to take pictures while moving. We were able to see Mount Fuji from the ropeway

Great trip, coach was comfortable and the driver was excellent, so smooth and proficient. Our guide Tsubasa went the extra mile, informative, excellent organization and kept it going. Best part was the view from level 5, so peaceful and cooler than in the city. Very well organized from itinerary and the tickets etc throughout the trip. Bullet train was an experience, 148mph on my map app.

Highlights

Take a sightseeing bus from Shinjuku or Ginza to explore Mt. Fuji and Hakone in one day. Visit the Mt. Fuji 5th Station at 2,300 m, ride the Hakone Ropeway for panoramic views, and cruise Lake Ashi, a caldera lake. Ropeway and cruise tickets and a one-way shinkansen ticket from Odawara Station to Tokyo Station are included for a quick return. An English-speaking guide accompanies you, audio guides are available in six languages, and you can choose an option with a lunch buffet.

Program

Depart by bus from Shinjuku or Ginza
and head up to the Mt. Fuji 5th Station

Board a Wi-Fi-equipped, air-conditioned coach at the Shinjuku LOVE statue (7:30 AM or 8:00 AM departure) or in front of Matsuya Ginza (depending on the option booked). An English-speaking guide accompanies you, and audio guides are available in Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese and Ukrainian.

After about 2 hours by bus, arrive at the Mt. Fuji 5th Station at 2,300 m and feel the calm atmosphere around the shrine and the nature of the mountain. If weather prevents going beyond the 4th Station, an alternative itinerary visits Oshino Hakkai or other scenic spots.

Enjoy a lunch buffet with views of Mt. Fuji

With the lunch option, enjoy a Japanese buffet made with fresh local ingredients at a restaurant with mountain views. The menu is the same for everyone and includes some vegetarian and Muslim-friendly dishes, but vegan, halal, gluten-free and allergy-friendly meals are not provided.

Ride the Hakone Ropeway and cruise Lake Ashi

Travel to the Hakone area and ride the ropeway from either Mt. Hakone or Mt. Komagatake. Look out over panoramic views of Hakone and, on clear days, Mt. Fuji. The ropeway takes you down to Lake Ashi, a caldera lake, where you enjoy a scenic cruise.

Return to Tokyo by shinkansen

Take the bus to Odawara Station and ride the shinkansen bullet train back to Tokyo Station. Arrival in Tokyo is expected around 6:00 PM.
