Highlights

and tour the Mt. Fuji area in one day
Depart from Tokyo Station at 7:30 AM or Shinjuku Station at 8:00 AM and travel about 2 hours by bus (depending on the option booked). A professional guide speaking English and Chinese accompanies you, and you return to the same place at the end of the day.
Ride the ropeway up to Tenjoyama Park
Spend about 1.5 hours at Lake Kawaguchi. After a stroll along the shore, ride the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway above the lake for a sweeping view of the sparkling water and the summit of Mt. Fuji.
From the panoramic terrace at Kawaguchiko Tenjoyama Park, Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi spread out before you. Raccoon dog and rabbit statues, the heart-shaped "Bell of Heaven", a rabbit shrine and a swing facing Mt. Fuji make great photo spots.
Stroll through Oishi Park and Oshino Hakkai
Spend about 45 minutes at Oishi Park, where the scenery changes with the seasons: cherry blossoms in spring, lavender in summer, fiery red kochia in autumn and snow-covered pampas grass in winter.
Oshino Hakkai offers about an hour of free time. This village is famous for eight clear spring ponds filled with snowmelt from Mt. Fuji. Walk along the wooden paths past traditional thatched-roof houses and try local snacks such as sweet potato mochi.
Capture Mt. Fuji with Chureito Pagoda
Finally, spend about an hour at Arakurayama Sengen Park. Pass Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine and climb the steps to see the red five-story Chureito Pagoda with Mt. Fuji, and look down over Fujiyoshida city below.
