Take a sightseeing bus from Tokyo Station or Shinjuku and explore the Mt. Fuji area in a single day. From April 26 to November 30 you visit the Mt. Fuji 5th Station at about 2,300 m, and from December 1 to April 25, when the road is closed by snow, you visit Arakura Sengen Park, where a five-story pagoda frames Mt. Fuji. At Oshino Hakkai, a village of eight clear spring ponds, you stroll through the traditional streets with your guide. In the afternoon, relax at a hot spring in the Gotemba area with views of Mt. Fuji or go shopping at Gotemba Premium Outlets.

Board a sightseeing bus in Tokyo
and head to Mt. Fuji
In the morning, meet your guide at the Marunouchi North Exit of Tokyo Station or at Tokyo Mode Gakuen in Shinjuku and board an air-conditioned sightseeing bus. The drive to Mt. Fuji takes about 2 hours 30 minutes, and the guide speaks English, Chinese and Japanese. Admission to the Mt. Fuji 5th Station, tolls, parking fees and fuel are all included.
Visit the Mt. Fuji 5th Station or
Arakura Sengen Park, depending on the season

From April 26 to November 30, spend about 40 minutes at the Mt. Fuji 5th Station, at around 2,300 m the highest point reachable by vehicle. Enjoy views of the snowy summit, Lake Kawaguchi and the Kanto Plain, walk up the stone steps of the shrine to make a wish, or try Mt. Fuji-themed ramen and desserts at the mountain shops.
From December 1 to April 25, the road to the 5th Station is closed by snow, so the tour visits Arakura Sengen Park instead. See the snowy peak of Mt. Fuji behind the red five-story Chureito Pagoda, and in spring, cherry blossoms bloom around the park.
Stroll around Oshino Hakkai
and its clear spring ponds

Oshino Hakkai is a historic village where eight crystal-clear spring ponds line a stone path. Walk with your guide for about an hour and admire Mt. Fuji reflected in the ponds, swimming koi and traditional Japanese houses. The scenery changes with the seasons, from cherry blossoms in spring and greenery in summer to autumn leaves and winter snow.
End the day relaxing at a hot spring
or shopping at the outlets

For the last stop, choose either a hot spring or Gotemba Premium Outlets and spend about 2 hours at leisure. Soak in an open-air bath with views of Mt. Fuji at Konohana no Yu, Fuji Hakkei no Yu or Gotemba Onsen Kaikan; the hot spring fee is paid separately. If you prefer shopping, spend your time at Gotemba Premium Outlets with Mt. Fuji in the distance. The drive back to Tokyo takes about 2 hours.
