Highlights

at the Mt. Fuji 5th Station
Departures are at 7:30 AM from the Marunouchi North Exit of JR Tokyo Station and 8:00 AM from Mode Gakuen in Shinjuku, and the hotel pickup option leaves from your hotel around 8:00 AM. You arrive in Yamanashi around 10:00 AM.
From April 26 to November 30, you spend about 40 minutes at the Mt. Fuji 5th Station at 2,305 m above sea level. On clear days you can see Lake Kawaguchi and the surrounding area, and on cloudy days a sea of clouds may spread below.
In winter, enjoy a Mt. Fuji panorama
at Arakurayama Sengen Park
From December 1 to April 25, you visit Arakurayama Sengen Park for about 60 minutes instead of the 5th Station. Climb 397 steps to see the famous view of Mt. Fuji and Fujiyoshida city, one of the most photographed Mt. Fuji viewpoints in the world.
Stroll through Oshino Hakkai,
a village of clear springs
Arrive at Oshino Hakkai around 11:30 AM and explore for about an hour. It consists of eight crystal-clear springs formed by Mt. Fuji's snowmelt, is known for its tranquil scenery and traditional village atmosphere, and is designated a national natural monument.
Choose outlet shopping in Gotemba
or a hot spring with Mt. Fuji views
From 1:00 PM, choose one of two options for about 2 hours. At Gotemba Premium Outlets, browse famous brand stores while enjoying views of Mt. Fuji. If you choose the hot spring, enjoy a natural hot spring bath at Konohana no Yu while gazing at Mt. Fuji (admission not included). If it is closed, Gotemba Fuji Eight View Onsen or Gotemba City Onsen Hall can be used instead.
Depart for Tokyo around 3:00 PM and arrive around 5:00 PM, about 1.5 to 2 hours later depending on traffic.
