A day trip by bus from Tokyo Station or Shinjuku Station to the most popular sights around Mt. Fuji. At Arakurayama Sengen Park, climb the steps for the classic view of Chureito Pagoda with Mt. Fuji behind it. You will also visit the thatched-roof village of Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba, the clear springs of Oshino Hakkai fed by Mt. Fuji's snowmelt, and Oishi Park on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi. An English-speaking guide accompanies the tour, and options with a set lunch are also available.

Leave Tokyo by bus
for the sights around Mt. Fuji
Depart from Tokyo Station at 8:00 AM or Shinjuku Station at 8:30 AM and travel about 2 hours to the Mt. Fuji area in an air-conditioned vehicle. An English-speaking guide accompanies you, and tolls, parking and fuel are all included. If you choose a lunch set option, your lunch will be a karaage chicken set or a Koshu beef set.
Stroll around Lake Kawaguchi and Oishi Park

Oishi Park changes with the seasons: cherry blossoms in spring, lavender in summer, autumn leaves and kochia in autumn, and snow and reeds in winter. With Mt. Fuji rising beyond Lake Kawaguchi, it is a lovely spot for a lakeside walk and photos.
Explore a thatched-roof village and Oshino Hakkai

Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba is a restored village where traditional crafts are preserved. Spend about an hour among thatched-roof houses with Mt. Fuji in the background. For a limited time, admission here is included free of charge.
Oshino Hakkai is named after eight crystal-clear springs fed by Mt. Fuji's snowmelt. Spend about an hour walking around the village and taste the spring water.
Capture Chureito Pagoda and Mt. Fuji in one shot

At Arakurayama Sengen Park, climb about 400 steps to the observation deck, where the red five-story Chureito Pagoda and Mt. Fuji come together in one view. After also visiting Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine, founded in 705, you return to Tokyo in about 2 hours.
