Tours & activities worldwide.
This day tour departs from Namba, Osaka, and takes you to Himeji Castle, Koko-en Garden, Arima Onsen and Mount Rokko in one day. Take a relaxed stroll around Himeji Castle, which in 1993 became Japan's first UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Koko-en, a Japanese garden designed with the castle as its backdrop. In the afternoon, wander through Arima Onsen, counted among Japan's three oldest hot springs, and look out over the Akashi Strait and the Osaka Plain from Mount Rokko, about 880 m above sea level. An English- and Chinese-speaking guide accompanies you, and an option with a Japanese lunch set including tempura is also available.

Meet at the meeting point in Namba, Osaka at 7:50 a.m. and depart at 8:00 in an air-conditioned vehicle. An English- and Chinese-speaking guide accompanies you as you visit Himeji Castle, Koko-en, Arima Onsen and Mount Rokko in turn, with free time at each spot to explore and take photos.

Himeji Castle was first built in the late 14th century, and its present grand form was completed in 1609. Nicknamed the 'White Heron Castle (Shirasagi-jo)' for its white exterior, it showcases castle-building techniques from the Sengoku period to the early Edo period. It is also one of the few castles in Japan whose original keep still stands.
Spend about 2 hours strolling around the castle at your own pace. From March 1, admission is not included; to see the castle interior, please buy a ticket (2,500 yen) on site on the day.

Koko-en is a Japanese garden of about 3.5 hectares located southwest of Himeji Castle. It consists of nine gardens, including a stroll garden centered on a pond and a tea garden with the Sojuan teahouse, and its Edo-period atmosphere has made it a filming location for period dramas and samurai films. You will spend about 1 hour here; from March 1, Koko-en tickets must also be purchased on site.
Next, enjoy about 1 hour of lunch and free time around Karoyashiki-ato Park. Guests on the lunch option enjoy 'Senhime Gozen', a Japanese set of mini anago (conger eel) rice bowl, warm mini udon, mini steak, assorted tempura and seasonal fruit.

Arima Onsen is a hot spring town in Kobe, counted among Japan's three oldest hot springs. For about 1 hour 30 minutes, walk along its narrow sloping streets and try local snacks such as Mitsumori Honpo's tansan senbei (carbonated crackers) and kinsenyaki pastries. Hot spring admission is not included.
Finally, stop at Rokko Garden Terrace on Mount Rokko, about 880 m above sea level, and enjoy the views stretching from the Akashi Strait to the Osaka Plain for about 30 minutes.
※ The itinerary may change due to traffic or unexpected circumstances on the day.
※ From March 1, admission to Himeji Castle and Koko-en is not included.
