Cruise the Dotonbori River for about 20 minutes
with a guide crew
The Tombori River Cruise is a mini cruise of about 20 minutes along the Dotonbori River, guided by an Osaka guide crew. Departing from Tazaemonbashi Pier, the boat turns around at Nipponbashi and in front of Minatomachi River Place, then returns to Tazaemonbashi Pier. Enjoy views of Osaka Minami and Dotonbori from the river that are hard to see on foot.
Pass under nine bridges on the Dotonbori River
The route passes nine bridges: Nipponbashi, Aiaibashi, Tazaemonbashi, Ebisubashi, Dotonboribashi, Shin-Ebisubashi, Daikokubashi, Fukaribashi and Ukiniwabashi. From the river you will see the neighborhoods around them one after another, including Kuromon Market, Den Den Town, Midosuji, Amerikamura and Horie.
Admire the dazzling signboard streets from the river
The open-top boat gives you an unobstructed view of Dotonbori's colorful signboards and streetscape. Boats depart on the hour and half hour from 11:00 to 21:00, so you can choose between daytime and nighttime views.

The boarding reception is on the 1st floor of Don Quijote Dotonbori on the north bank of the Tombori River Walk, next to the river-side entrance (east side), with the pier right in front. Look for Don Quijote Dotonbori with its oval yellow Ferris wheel. About a 5–10 minute walk from Namba Station and Nipponbashi Station (JR West, Osaka Metro, Kintetsu, Nankai).
