The tour departs at 9:10 AM from Odori Park (Meeting point A) or at 9:30 AM from the bus parking lot at the North Exit of Sapporo Station (Meeting point B). With a driver-guide, you visit five places from Hokkaido Jingu Shrine to Otaru Canal and arrive near the bus parking lot at the North Exit of Sapporo Station around 6:00 PM, where the tour ends.

Stop by Hokkaido Jingu Shrine and Sapporo Jogai Market

Your first stop, Hokkaido Jingu Shrine, is set in an old forest within Maruyama Park; spend about 40 minutes enjoying its peaceful atmosphere. Next, spend about 60 minutes at Sapporo Jogai Market, where you can choose fresh seafood such as snow crab and shellfish and have it prepared on the spot. Meals are at your own expense.

Visit the cookie factory at Shiroi Koibito Park

Spend about 70 minutes at this tourist factory themed on the Shiroi Koibito chocolate cookie. Explore the English castle-style buildings, chocolate-making demonstrations and seasonal gardens, and buy souvenirs available only in Hokkaido.

End the day at Otaru Aquarium and Otaru Canal

Otaru Aquarium is a semi-open aquarium on the Sea of Japan coast with over 50 years of history, where you can meet penguins and a variety of marine life in exhibits that make use of the natural marine environment. You stay here for about 90 minutes.

Finally, spend about 90 minutes strolling freely along the approximately 1,140 m Otaru Canal and photographing the stone warehouses that line it.
