Start your winter whale watching cruise
from Naha Miegusuku Port
Choose a morning or afternoon departure and meet at Naha Miegusuku Port. The morning tour meets at 08:30 and departs at 09:00, and the afternoon tour meets at 13:00 and departs at 13:30. If you choose the shuttle, you will be picked up at a designated spot in Naha and taken to the port. If you travel on your own, meet directly at the port.
Sail toward the Kerama Islands on a catamaran
Enjoy a sea cruise on a catamaran sailing toward the Kerama Islands. From December to April, scan the horizon for wild humpback whales returning to Okinawan waters, and listen to stories about the islands. The boat ride, whale watching, and return to port take about 3.5 to 4 hours in total.
Get your experience photos for free
Photos taken during the whale watching experience can be downloaded online for free on the same day. The morning tour returns to Miegusuku Port around 12:00 and the afternoon tour around 16:30. Participants who came on their own finish at the port, and shuttle users are taken back to the designated pickup point.
