See the Elephant Trunk Rock at Cape Manzamo
Cape Manzamo is one of Okinawa's most photographed coastal spots. Spend 30 minutes admiring the huge limestone cliff that looks like an elephant dipping its trunk into the sea, and the East China Sea's contrast of deep blue water, turquoise coral reefs and white waves. The flat field on top of the cliff is covered with unique coastal plants, some designated as prefectural natural monuments.
Enjoy sea views and lunch on Kouri Island
Cross the roughly 2 km Kouri Bridge to Kouri Island, nicknamed the "Island of Love." Spend 50 minutes exploring the coastline, including Heart Rock at Tinu Beach, then enjoy a one-hour lunch at Kouri Shrimp, a well-known restaurant on the island.
Discover the Ryukyu seas at Churaumi Aquarium
Explore Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in Ocean Expo Park freely for 3.5 hours. True to its name, meaning "beautiful sea," the aquarium recreates marine life around the Ryukyu Islands from shallow coral reefs to the deep sea, and you can also see dolphins. Aquarium admission is included in the tour price.
