See the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests
at the Temple of Heaven

Meet your guide at Exit A2 of Tiantan Dongmen Station at 9:00 AM. The Temple of Heaven is China's largest imperial sacrificial complex, where emperors once prayed for good harvests. Spend about 2 hours walking through the grounds with your guide and admire the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, a masterpiece of ancient Chinese architecture. The 2-hour Temple of Heaven option ends here at around 11:00 AM.

Enjoy a Peking duck lunch
and head to the Lama Temple

On the full-day tour, board the coach after the Temple of Heaven and enjoy an authentic Peking duck lunch at a traditional restaurant around noon. At about 1:00 PM, visit the Lama Temple (Yonghe Temple), Beijing's most renowned Tibetan Buddhist temple, and see the 18-meter Maitreya Buddha carved from a single sandalwood tree.

Stroll along Kunming Lake and the Long Corridor
at the Summer Palace

Around 2:00 PM, ride the coach to the Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage imperial garden known as the "Museum of Royal Gardens." Walk along Kunming Lake with your guide and admire the paintings of the Long Corridor.

If you wish, you can take the optional Royal Waterway Cruise on site for CNY 100 per person, following the historic route of the emperors by boat. The tour ends at the Summer Palace at around 5:00 PM, and you are welcome to stay on and explore the gardens at your own pace.
