Step into a Ming Dynasty
Yongle-era court banquet

Located in the Shichahai and Drum Tower area, Yongle Gong Yan is an immersive dining and performance experience themed on the court culture of the Ming Dynasty's Yongle era. Choose one of three time slots, 12:00, 17:00 or 19:18, and select A seats (rows 1–2), B seats (rows 3–4) or C seats (rows 5–6).

Taste imperial dishes served as the story unfolds

Dishes are served in order following the storyline, brought out by performers playing royal attendants according to Ming court dining rituals. Enjoy more than 10 reinterpreted imperial-style dishes, including Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, Peking duck, premium pork meatballs and braised pork.

Join the live show performed up close

Traditional dance, folk music and opera accompany each course, and a live-action drama unfolds right beside the guests. Interactive segments blur the line between performers and audience, so you feel like part of the banquet.

Dress in Hanfu and take photos

If you wish, you can choose Hanfu costumes and hair and makeup styling (not included). Styles range from Hanfu only to princess, emperor or empress costumes with elaborate hair and makeup, and after the meal you are free to look around and take photos.
