This imperial dining experience takes place in an elegant courtyard garden just 1 km from the Forbidden City. It lasts about 2 hours, and depending on your option you can choose regular seats or front/second-row seats.

Taste courses recreating an emperor's feast

The banquet recreates the grand scene of an ancient emperor receiving royals and civil and military officials. Every dish has a cultural background, and its origin, name, shape and flavor reflect classical Chinese etiquette. A manager in court dress leads around twelve maids in Hanfu who serve each guest one by one to grand traditional Chinese music.

Traditional Chinese cultural performances unfold during the meal. Each show features a large cast and combines sound, lighting and electric stage equipment to create spectacular scenes.
