YanWaiYan is an immersive cultural dining experience that blends imperial cuisine, theatrical performance and Hanfu aesthetics. Shows run twice daily, at lunch (12:00) and dinner (19:00), and last about 2 hours. Depending on your option, choose Standard seats (rows 4–6), VIP seats (rows 2–3) or SVIP seats (row 1).

Hosts in court attire welcome you

On arrival, hosts in traditional court costume greet you with a ceremonial welcome, tea service and a hand-washing ritual. The round, palace-style banquet hall covers about 2,000㎡ with 240 seats arranged around a central stage. Red banquet tables, swivel cushioned chairs and custom Jingdezhen porcelain tableware recreate the grandeur of a royal feast.

Themed performances accompany every course

Throughout the banquet, each course is paired with a themed performance inspired by China's imperial history. Classical dance, court music, poetry recitation, traditional instrument performances and costume showcases unfold between dishes, and each dish tells a story of history and etiquette. Vegan and special dietary options are available.

Hologram stagecraft deepens the immersion

Stage technology such as holographic 3D LED screens, a modular lifting stage and aerial visual effects creates a cinematic setting. Hanfu rituals, music and dance inspired by the life of Emperor Wu (武帝) blend with the cuisine. Hanfu costume rental and makeup or photo packages are available for an extra fee.
