Beijing Mutianyu Great Wall Bus Tour from Dongsi Station

Head to the Mutianyu Great Wall

For bus options, meet at Exit E of Dongsi Station (Metro Lines 5/6) in Beijing and travel to Mutianyu by air-conditioned bus. Look for the guide wearing a green vest to check in. The bus tour with entrance ticket offers departures at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, and 12:00.

For private options, the driver picks you up from your hotel within Beijing's 4th Ring Road. The private car tour includes the entrance ticket and vehicle only, while the private guided tour includes an English-speaking guide throughout the visit.

Walk the wall at a relaxed pace for 4–5 hours

Mutianyu is a well-preserved section of the wall with relatively fewer crowds. Options with entrance tickets let you skip the ticket line, and the free shuttle bus runs within the scenic area. If you like, take the cable car or toboggan (CNY 140 per person each, at your own expense).
