Beijing: Mutianyu Great Wall Round-Trip Bus Tour - Tickets Included

Board the bus at The Regent Beijing hotel parking lot near Dengshikou Station on Metro Line 5 and ride about 1.5 hours one way to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Buses depart daily at 8:00, 9:00 and 10:00 AM, and return buses leave at 3:00, 4:00 and 5:00 PM, dropping off near Ditan (地坛) on Metro Lines 2 and 5. English-language service is provided on the bus.

Walk the Mutianyu wall
on your chosen route for about 5 hours

At Mutianyu, explore on your own for about 5 hours. Climb the stone steps for about 45 minutes to Watchtowers 6, 8, 10 or 12, or take the cable car up to Watchtower 14 and walk toward Watchtower 20. From Watchtower 6 you can come down by toboggan or chairlift, and the hiking routes run between Watchtowers 6-1-6 or 6-14-6.

The cable car and toboggan are not included in the ticket and can be purchased separately on the bus if you wish. Children under 120 cm are free, and children 120 cm or taller pay the adult price.

Add the Summer Palace depending on your option

With the "Including Summer Palace Visit" option, the bus departs at 7:30 AM. Explore Mutianyu freely from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, then visit the Summer Palace with a guide from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. The tour ends around 5:30 PM at the Bird's Nest (National Stadium) in the Olympic Park.
