Beijing Mutianyu Great Wall Cable Car Combo Ticket & Hotel Pickup Tour

Explore the Mutianyu Great Wall
with an easy combo ticket

Mutianyu is a section of the Great Wall about 85 km northeast of Beijing. It was built and restored in the early Ming dynasty on the remains of walls from the Northern Qi period (550-577), and once served as a northern line of defense protecting the capital and the Ming tombs.

The combo ticket includes admission, the round-trip shuttle bus within the scenic area and a round-trip cable car ride. Simply scan your passport to enter, take the shuttle bus to the foot of the wall, then ride the cable car up to enjoy the mountain views at your own pace.

Depart straight from your hotel by private vehicle

With a transfer option, your driver picks you up in your Beijing hotel lobby, takes you to Mutianyu about 1.5 hours away, and brings you back to your hotel after your visit. Choose from a 7-seat business van, a 7-seat Mercedes-Benz, or a 14-17 or 20-22 seat coach, and explore Mutianyu freely without a guide.

Learn the history of the Great Wall with a guide

Guided tours start with hotel lobby pickup and a drive of about 1.5 to 2 hours by business van (1-4 people) or coach (5-9 people). Great Wall admission and a VIP pass are included, and you walk the wall for about 1 to 3 hours while your guide shares its history and stories.

The all-inclusive guided tour also includes the cable car and lunch or dinner at a local Chinese restaurant on a hill overlooking the entire Great Wall.

※ The cable car is a round-trip gondola lift, which is different from the chairlift and toboggan.
