for the Mutianyu Great Wall

Meet your guide in the hotel lobby and head straight to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. The drive takes about 1.5 hours, and your guide shares the history and stories of the Great Wall along the way. Enjoy the countryside scenery outside Beijing from the window.

The small group tour is limited to 8 people per group so you can explore without the crowds. The private tour is just for your party with a dedicated guide and a private vehicle driven by a professional driver, and the pace and time at each stop can be adjusted to your interests.

Ride up by cable car and walk past watchtowers and beacon towers

At Mutianyu, take a cable car or ski lift up to the Wall. Spend about 1.5 hours hiking up and down several sections and exploring the watchtowers and beacon towers. You can choose either a round-trip cable car or a ski lift + toboggan.

Enjoy lunch, then stroll through the imperial Summer Palace

After the Great Wall, stop for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the well-preserved imperial gardens of the Summer Palace and walk through the grounds with your guide, learning the history and stories behind its buildings. You can also learn about the life of Empress Dowager Cixi, known as the "Dragon Lady," at the Summer Palace. At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel.
