Meet at Cafe Kamoshirenai in Kyoto to start your sake tasting. Taste 12 sakes carefully selected from across Japan one by one, and learn about the diverse aromas and flavors of sake, from light and fruity to rich and full-bodied.
Compare sakes from different regions and find your favorite
Sakes from various regions such as Niigata, Miyagi and Kyoto are served. Compare different styles, from clean and refreshing finishes to rich, savory rice flavors and fruity aromas, find your favorite and share your thoughts with the group.
Enjoy izakaya snacks and matcha ice cream
Pair your sake with three traditional Japanese izakaya snacks such as yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), dashimaki tamago (Japanese rolled omelet with dashi) and edamame. Finish on a sweet note with matcha ice cream made in Kyoto.
※ Only participants aged 20 and over can drink sake; participants under 20 are served soft drinks instead.
