I stumbled upon it through a search and immediately booked. I think it would be even better if you go with your family. I went alone, but many families ride together. The staff explained everything about Lake Biwa and even sang a song later, which they did very well. It was quite a unique experience.

It was really unique and nice to be able to tour Lake Biwa like this on a cruise ship. It departs directly from Otsu Port, so it is easily accessible, and the view of the mountains and lake from the boat is truly picturesque. It was a couple's trip, and the atmosphere was perfect as we had a beer in the breeze while live music was playing on the boat.
