Enjoy wagyu kaiseki in a historic villa
on Yasaka street
Hiro Yasakatei is a restaurant on historic Yasaka street, lined with traditional Japanese houses. The villa was built in the early Showa era by a wealthy merchant known for the herbal medicine "Rokushomaru," and after the war it served as a private retreat for film directors and actors of Shochiku Studios. Today, this beautifully preserved space lets you experience Kyoto's architecture and cuisine together.
