My Sake World is a sake tasting and making studio on a quiet lane in Kyoto's Kawaramachi district, within easy walking distance of Kiyomizu-Gojo Station and Kyoto-Kawaramachi Station. The experience begins with a knowledgeable guide introducing the basics of Japanese sake in a friendly, easy-to-understand way.

Compare sake from Kyoto and across Japan

Taste sake selected from breweries across Japan, including Fushimi, one of Japan's three major sake-producing regions along with Nada and Saijo. Discover how aroma, sweetness, acidity and umami differ by bottle, region and style. This is a pure tasting and discovery experience focused on savoring and learning about sake, not making your own blend.

A fully indoor experience, perfect for rainy days

The whole experience takes place indoors, so you can enjoy it in any weather. It is close to the Kamo River, Gion, Pontocho and Nishiki Market, making it easy to combine with nearby sightseeing.
